Elmhurst Ski Club-Moraine Hills State Park Bicycle Trip

Where to Meet:            Pike Marsh Parking lot (Bicycle trip)

                                    Jackie and Larrys house (Swimming and Boating)

Everyone is welcome to participate in both activities or can choose one activity or the other. Just want to have a fun day with our friends at the Elmhurst Ski Club. If you have friends that might want to join the club, bring them along.

 

What to Bring:              Bicycle Trip - Bike, water bottle, energy!

Swimming and Boating at Jackie and Larrys - Swimsuit or cool clothes, towels, sunscreen, beverage of choice

 

Food to be provided:    Ski Club will provide lunch (Sub sandwich)

 

Directions to Moraine Hills State Park:

290 West toward Rockford. Take IL-53 North to Lake Cook Road. Take Lake Cook Road west to Rand Road/U.S. 12). Turn right. Continue north to IL Route 176/Liberty Street. Turn left (west).  Continue approximately 3.4 miles to South River Road. Turn right. You should now see signs for Moraine Hills State Park. Pike Marsh will be the first parking area on your right.

 

Directions to Jackie and Larrys:

Same as above except: Continue past Moraine Hills State Park to the 1st stoplight (Miller Road). Go past Miller Road to the first street on your left (Sutton Court). Turn left. At the end of the street, turn right (Emerald Drive). Last house (tan with a wrought iron fence).
