Walt’s Favorite Subjects – X–Country Skiing and Chili

Dear ESC Members,

Hope you are all enjoying a great summer. But believe it or not it’s time to start thinking about the next X-Country ski season that is fast approaching. Now I’m not saying that you need to start waxing your skis yet, I’m just trying to get you excited to start thinking about it. We will probably do a trip again to Moraine Hills State Park as we did last year on February 19, 2005. Hopefully this year we will get to ski! We were a little short of snow last year but had a great time hiking and partying.

Also keep in mind the Chili Party this fall. It’s planned for Sept. 25, 2004 at Lee Wirth’s house. It’s a lot of fun tasting the different chili and voting for your favorite. So make up a pot of chili and come out.

The more people the more fun it is. See you all soon.
